Archiefbank Vlaanderen

Archiefbank Vlaanderen is creating a central database of Flemish private archives. The intention is to comprehensively map out this heritage, and in so doing to contribute to protecting and enhancing the value of these archives. The first data were introduced at the end of 2004, and the general public has been able to consult the database on the internet since April 2005. In 2021 they changed their name into Archiefpunt Vlaanderen.
